Share with Family + Friends:
Improv is a great way to get out of one's comfort zone and try something new. Not only is it inherently a unique thing to try, but what one gets out of the experience is so much more: Collaboration, Confidence, Creativity, Body Language Awareness, Social Skills...amazing right?
The improv program Lisa offers through Yonge Street Players centers around the development of unique characters and sketch comedy reviews. Infused with energy and enjoyment, every class cultivates a positive mindset among all students.
The curriculum seamlessly blends warm-up exercises, improvisation, scene study, monologues, commedia del’arte, and performance techniques. The Yonge Street Players program actively promotes individual contributions to the ensemble, placing a strong emphasis on constructive peer feedback and collaborative direction techniques.
