Intermediate Glee Club
J with a K Music offers Glee Club! This 8-week commitment is an opportunity for your kids to sing and dance to their favourite tunes with their BFFs after school or on weekends. Not only will they interpret and learn lyrics to the songs, we will explore choreography (dance moves and actions) to accompany those lyrics. No need to purchase anything special to join Glee! All materials included.
Each class begins with a body warm-up, followed by a vocal warm-up to strengthen vocal technique. Next is all about the drama (let us know what songs you want!), we learn lyrics of each song and explore the dramatic intention of the words. Afterwards, we learn dance moves / actions that compliment the music. The end of all classes is celebrated with a special mini-showcase for family and friends at the Host-friend's home.
- Who: Youth 9 years+ Minimum 3 friends
- Where: Host-friend's home - indoors + outdoors (weather permitting) with enough room for kids to move around freely; Midtown, Summerhill, Rosedale, Yorkville, Annex, East York, North York (locations outside this area will be subject to a travel fee)
- When: After school, 60 mins, once a week for 8 weeks
- Why: Learn to sing, dance + act with BFFs!
- How much: Host-friend receives 25% discount!
- 3 friends (min) $30pp or $240pp 8 weeks
- 4 to 6 friends $28.50pp or $228pp 8 weeks
- 7 to 10 friends $25pp or $200pp 8 weeks
