Kyla Yager
Kyla Yager Artwork is about leaning into our emotions and embracing our neurodivergent energy. Art is used as a tool to work through our emotions and thoughts in a safe environment, where we can be vulnerable. Under Kyla's guidance, we learn to let go of perfectionism.
Kyla offers personalized one-on-one sessions and group workshops for 2-20 people. You can host a workshop in your home, or in your school or any location, even virtual. These workshops cater to individuals aged 3 and above. All necessary supplies are included for in-person groups, with virtual group rates offered at a lower rate.
About Me
I met Kyla late January 2024. She was referred to me by a friend whose children are neurodivergent, and had taken an art workshop with Kyla. I love what Kyla stands for, and how she uses intuition as the building block to create art, beyond perfectionism. How awesome is that?
Kyla, a Visual Artist from Toronto with roots in New Orleans, passionately expresses emotions and mindsets through her art. Despite facing challenges with ADHD and Mental Health, she turns them into tools for her creative process. Kyla's rapid thoughts mirror the movement of her paintbrush, employing hyper-detail, layering, and hidden imagery to offer diverse perspectives to viewers.
With a BFA from York University in 2018, she officially launched Kyla Yager Artwork in January 2020. Drawing and painting since childhood, Kyla aims to inspire neurodivergent individuals to embrace their unique traits positively.
