She Shops Swap was founded on addressing the clothing crisis and bridging the gap between donating, and the limited brands accepted by designer consignment stores.
Since Vicki Hall's first swap in 2020 resulted in 75 women swapping over 600 items, demonstrating a demand for sustainable and cost effective alternative. Items that remain after the swap are donated to New Circles GLOW Clothing Bank.
She Shops Swap is a practical and impactful initiative not only refreshes wardrobes but also minimizes fashion's environmental impact.
Vicki Hall, Sustainable Fashion Advocate and Founder of She Shops Swap, merges her passion for fashion with a commitment to sustainability through her platform.

4. SWAP EVENT DAY: You should arrive early for the best choice. There will be no holds. Each item will ‘cost’ one ticket. Remember you are ‘swapping’ amongst friends in our community, so please be courteous when browsing and don’t hold onto items for consideration too long. Change rooms will not be available so dress appropriately to pop a piece over what you’re wearing to try on. Some venues may have washrooms available to trying items on. Don’t forget to BYOB – Bring Your Own Bag. Doors to the event location will open at 7 p.m.
5. SPREAD THE PRE-OWNED LOVE: Clothing and accessories that remain at the end of the Swap Event will be donated to New Circles GLOW (Gently Loved Outfits to Wear) program and other organizations for women in need to keep them out of landfill and cycle them directly back into communities in need. Don’t forget to tag @sheshops swap on Instagram when sharing your swap finds.
