About Krysti
Plus Size Fitness Professional and Body Confidence Coach:
I’m Krysti!
Serving in fitness and recreation for over 15 years, I offer 1:1 and group coaching to help women love their bodies, gain confidence and attain their best health. I have served hundreds of people through virtual and in person training and group fitness.
I have been married for 11 years and have an 8-year-old, a 6-year-old and a 1-month-old here on earth, and one we have to meet one day in heaven. We have a beloved dog named Ozzy. He loves me the most, no contest.
I love people. I love talking to them and watching them. Most of all I love investing in them. The blog was born when I was working through one of my biggest struggles: being fired from my job and feeling abandoned by the same community (my church). I couldn’t control what was happening with my job and community. I jumped into what I could control: working on my health, and investing in others so they could do the same.
Let my Darkness be Your Light
Proudly born and raised in Southern Ontario, I’m a lifelong struggler. My biggest lifelong struggle and journey to date has been with my body. I have always carried extra weight. Becoming a mom was that ultra physical marathon. I have worked my way through the struggles of four pregnancies and birth recoveries; one miscarriage and my three births were cesarean.
For the last several years I have been active and sharing my passion for movement with others as a Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor, and Health Coach. As frustrated as I get with my body, I am continually working on loving it and treating it well. No matter its condition.
Whatever your struggle, know you are not alone. You can use your circumstances to become an excuse, stay stuck and be miserable. Or, you can also choose to take action to grow, change and become a better wife, mom, and servant of the community.
Making yourself a priority does not mean “me first!”. It means “me too!”

FAQ
1. Are you a personal trainer, mentor or coach?
In essence, I’m the best of all 3 worlds. In one plus-sized package!
You can expect a full spectrum approach to your health in the form of strategies, accountability and encouragement. I offer virtual services, providing 1:1 and group support. Some things are scheduled regularly for you to attend, and some things are scheduled with you at your convenience. Bottom line, all services are provided and you use what’s best for you and your goals.
2. What is required of me?
Show up. Be honest. That’s it.
Whether you’re having a good day or not, my job is to help you build a healthy lifestyle that serves you. I want you to do what works for you so that everything you learn and apply will stick. There’s nothing worse than investing yourself and not seeing results. It’s my job to help you build lifelong, sustainable habits and best of all: RESULTS.
3. Do I have to do extreme workouts of dieting?
Absolutely not! True health is about being able to enjoy life and make the best with what you have. I show you how to get effective and efficient movement without spending hours at the gym. I teach you how to eat and feed your family within your budget and with a reasonable amount of time. Health is for every body and every budget. I firmly believe that.
Small, attainable habits for big, sustainable results.
4. How long is the commitment? Is it enough time to reach my goals?
I am currently accepting clients for a short term commitment of 8 and 12 weeks, extendable upon request. We spend the first week setting acheivable, realistic goals. If you show up and do the work, you will reach your goals. If you have a bigger goal, you can also sign up for a subsequent program.
If you're looking for a quick fix, I suggest the Jump Start for Moms. We take a deep dive into your current practices, analysis of your health and a program designed for your goals. Only available upon request.
5. Where is the program? Do I have to be local?
The program is virtual! All services are provided online and by phone. There is no need to travel or be in person. In person services are limited to Southwestern Ontario, Canada (Windsor and Chatham-Kent, London and St Thomas, Woodstock and Ingersoll, Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph, with Sarnia, the western terminus of Highway 402; Brantford, on Highway 403, and Stratford).
